I got my vapor king today. This is my fourth ecig, none of the others worked at all for me, and I was prepared for disappointment, sort of cautiously optimistic: Damn I was so surprised!

I set it up and found it was really simple to use right out of the box. There was an extra flavor or two that somehow made it's way into my order, which was awesome, because the flavor I like best wasn't even one I asked for, LOL!

I was amazed at the first puff. I drag analogs very deeply and "straight down" rather than rolling the smoke around in my mouth. My boyfriend got the giggles when I got so much vapor on the first hit I sputtered. He said the vapor was coming out of my ears. It was worth it to see a 6'3 250lb guy giggle, however.

After trying a milder cart, with a bit less throat hit and enjoying smaller drags. I handed the b/f my cigs and asked him to toss them out. I can tell I'm not going to need them anymore.

I'm a hospice nurse and I care for very ill people in their homes. The effort I go through to get rid of the smoke smell is almost ridiculous. Some people can become nauseated or have breathing issues if exposed to smoke on hair or clothes. I would put on a jacket and a hat (even in 100+ weather), smoke really fast and then scrub myself, swig mouthwash, bag up the jacket and hat and lock them in the trunk of my car. I know I'm never going to have to do that again and I'm so thankful.

Lots of people in poor health smoke while using oxygen and I've seen the resulting burns. Does anyone know if vapor king is safe around 02 condensers and bottles? Liquid oxygen? I'm very curious to find out.

A friend's mom is coming home from the hosp. I got my friend started on VK's last week and I told her to ask the man who brought out the machine that makes the oxygen about it, he told her not to get closer then 5 ft with it. Don't know if that helps or not. This was yesterday.

Shannon, I Vaped with my Dad on O2, with COPD, as well as Emphysema. This is actually why I do, what I do. I developed terrible asthma from analogs, was using 2 advair discs a month, as well as 4-6 albuterol. I have not used advair in over 9 months, and have the same albuterol now over 4 months wih 1. Huge difference.

Welcome to our V4L family, please, let me know if I can help in ANY way.

Thank You

Steve:lol:

If you want to quit smoking, start vaporing. AMEN

The initial cost sounds high, but when you order new batteries and cartomizors you really start saving vs 'analog' cigarettes. Then add up my inhalers, anti-histamine and nose spray for even more savings. The way I figured it, by no means guaranteed accurate, because it depends on how you use them.
A one pack a day smoker, with 3sec puffs [I ordered 25mg and 3sec is plenty]
5 day estimation:
5 cartomizors 12.50 = 5 pks cig 25.00
2 batteries 35.00 [figure $1day because they are rechargeable] = $5
Save 7.50 over 5 days [not counting my meds]

I bought an Ultimate Ultimatum starter kit. I researched for days.... and all reviews eventually led me back to Vapor4Life. I am sooo glad I bought from them.
As I grow older, things just don't connect as well in my brain, so I had to ask Steve some questions via email. His answers were very prompt and courteous.
It was all very confusing to me. Which kit was the most practical and economical, what flavors [Good Grief - flavors?] and What is a cartomizor, which batteries [manual or auto], what strength [nicotine mg]. What's a Passthru? As it turned out, thanks to Steve, it was simple. The flavors, I told him to just send various, because I had no idea what I was doing. He did and bless him, threw in some extras for me to try. They are all good, mild and tasteful.
I also ordered two Passthrus [a must for PC nerds], I love them. They plug in a USB port and need no recharging. Steve also sent me some manuals to try. I will order more of those.
Let me tell you... these things are Great!
Steve says - We stand behind our products, and treat YOU, the same way WE would like to be treated ourselves It's true, he really does! He also has very fast shipping.
The card he includes in the package that explains that this is Not a cigarette and it is Not smoke but water vapor that is seen when the e-cig is used. That came in handy again today when I was visiting my husband in the hospital. Now I have to print info and take it back with me for all to see.
I‘m 69, a 54yr smoker and for the last 8yrs, I’ve smoked 2pks a day (thanks to trying the patches). After 3wks, I smoke less than a pack a day and I use less inhaler, no anti-histamine and use my nasal spray about once a week. That’s far less than my former daily, inhaler every 4hr to 6hrs, two antihistamines and nasal spray twice a day. I’m saving about $150mo just for meds! Plus e-cigs are cheaper than cigarettes after the initial cost for the starter kit, with the chargers and carrying cases.

I am excited about getting rid of my cigarettes and a big bonus is that until I am no longer addicted to nicotine, I can vapor anywhere, restaurants, even in Jim's hospital room. :)

Tommie, thank you for taking the time to type all of that out. 54 years is a long time and I'm glad you did the research and found something that works for you, instead of buying the first e-cig you came across only to get frustrated and go right back to cigs.

I smoked since I was about 10, 25 years until about a month ago. Even watching my grandmother deteriorate after developing emphysema(among other things, all from smoking) was not enough to get me to quit, even though I knew I needed to. This is the first and only thing I have ever found that I feel will truly get me off the cigs.

Congratulations to you!

Mint is my favorite flavor so far. I haven't had an analog since last night and I haven't really wanted one yet. Gotta get out and see my peeps. I wish I could deliver all my COPDers vapor kings like santa claus.

I have to do some research on what is ethically allowed if I wanted to talk to a COPDer about vaping. Seriously unchartered territory there.

We are in Warm Springs, Ga. In case you don't know of it, that's where Roosevelt's Little White House is. It's close to Callaway Gardens and Safari in Pine Mt.
We love it here. Our house is back in the woods, off the road and the people are so nice. Dealing with country merchants and banks is sooo dif than the big cities.
Steve must be a country boy at heart, he is so nice to do business with.

I'll check back later. My grandson-in-law and grand-daughter have come to clean my house.

Regards to all of you, Tommie

Also a hospice nurse here, I agree with the smell on our clothes, etc. from analogs. (not fair to our pts) I honestly can't see how these would be harmful around oxygen, we are not using fire. I don't think I would use these as a teaching tool for smokers with COPD, we don't know how harmful, (if at all) these are, and it could cost you your job. (I was the hospice coordinator for years, am now disabled) IMO these are much safer for us than smoking, but we really don't know the risks. I smoked for 40 years, am 54, and have 30-40% lung capacity, depending on the day they take the resp. tests. I do have COPD, but my lung problems came after 6 months chemo and then radiation. I will never get off the inhalers, but it's because of the treatment. (I never was on one prior to treatment) I'm happy that you're giving these a try, any of us in the medical field don't look to smart with a cig. in our hands, lol.

Congratulations Shannon! I guess you just needed the device that works best for you! Regarding the "effort" to cover up the smell...I can tell you that most of your patients were probably not fooled. I used to do the same thing. I didn't want anyone I worked with to know that I smoked. About a month after quitting analogs, several co-workers asked me how I quit. I asked how they knew I smoked. Some were more subtle about it but one co-worker came right out and said that I smelled like I walked from a poker room into a perfume parlor and then back again! Now that I am a non-smoker, I can smell smoke a mile away myself. I am also noticing the covered-up smoke smell on other co-workers that I never knew smoked! (Our boss is VERY anti-smoke).

Isn't it great that we smell so good now?

Happy Vaping! :)
