Changing Juices With a Reo?

New Reo user here, how does one change juices? As luck would have it I happen to have 2 RM2s so I can swap the RDAs but do I need to blow out the feeder tube or anything?

Dumb question but I'm sure there is a trick to it.

I take off the bottle, hold my finger on the RM2 air hole, blow through the atty so the remaining juice comes out of the tube, refill bottle, put on and vape away. Depending on the flavor, I may re-wick.

I just let the new juice go through the tube and don't notice the old juice at all.

Anyone vape bacco flavors or would that be too intense? I am vaping Boba's right now, I know some may call that a bacco flavor but I'm talking about stuff like Halo Tribeca, Hangsen Desert Ship or Highway.

I vape mainly fruit flavored and I did used to vape Bobas but that stuff just darkened the coil within moments.

I DIY all sorts of different flavors! Never change a completely dry bottle. Usually around 2ml left I will top it off with something else.

I found all my flavors meld well with the others. I don't label my 30ml bottles. Just grab one and fill.

What I have discovered is some of my combinations are totally fantastic! Down side is that I have no freaking clue what it was!

Boba's is much stronger than Tribeca imo - I had that for ages in my Reo and the smell lingered for the longest time, even after a good scrub!

When you say never change a completely empty bottle I assume that's because your wick will go dry if you can't squonk it with juice. Are there other reasons? I'll often let mine get down to the bottom as long as I can wet my wick.

On a related note: I often find that the juice left at the bottom of a bottle is darker in color. I attribute this to the juice being heated above which then finds its way down to the bottom of the bottle. Normally I just empty the "dregs" and fill it back up. Any downside to a quick rinse and then refill? I know there may be a drop or two of water left but it seems that would just mix in and be of such a small amount as to be of no consequence. Just curious what other's experiences have been.

I do sometimes rinse my bottle and the tiny amount of water at the bottom has no affect to the juice imo.

When you say never change a completely empty bottle I assume that's because your wick will go dry if you can't squonk it with juice. Are there other reasons? I'll often let mine get down to the bottom as long as I can wet my wick.

I got that dark stuff at the bottom of the bottle once. I was trying to figure it out for a bit, I think it was because I hadn't dry burned the coil recently enough. It's easy to just leave your atty on for weeks and never even look at it with a reo. I may have burned the wick up a bit with a dry hit or two as well. (cotton)

I think that a dry burn then change the wick will get rid of that.

Gah.. Reverse that order. Don't dry burn it with cotton in there

I know with Gennies people don't think about the fact that the wick works both ways, the juice in the tank will indeed darken as it wicks carbon from the coil area back into the juice. Maybe that is what happens with the Reo toppers as well, the excess juice touches the wick/coil and carries some stuff back down the squonk tube to the bottle. Just a theory.

I just throw more juice in the bottle, because i'm bone idle and usually it works fine, but i cannot say i recommend switching flavours that are miles apart and just "vape thru it" - i tried menthol to apple pie earlier this week and it was bloody dire!

When you clean the mod, once a week for me at the weekend. and that coincides with a low fuel level, then i wash the bottle out as well as the tube, file, noalox and then subject it to more abuse.

If I squonk on a hot coil, the juice that gets sucked back down will be darker. I Like to chain so I have to make a conscious effort not to juice up a hot coil.

Yep, that'd be me. Chain vaper but always want a wet wick. So I squonk when the coil is still hot, I'm sure. Oh well, that's one of the benefits with the mini's smaller bottle. You won't get as much sucked down into the bottle.

I've got to say, my mini is definitely my main vape. The form factor is perfect and 1 bottle and 1 battery lasts me a full day. Just reload in the morning, change cotton wick every 2 days (or sooner if I burned it.) My grand is getting jealous If I were going on a trip though I'd take both. That's for sure!

I sincerely hope Rob makes a great living for the rest of his life. Better than great. I want him around a good long time to support my habit

I know this is off on a tangent now but people need to make money to stay in business 'cause if they ain't in business they can't provide support to their customers. Some people think Reos are expensive. They're really not, especially if you get into them before buying a ton of other gear. If I had known about the Reo from the get go I could have saved quite a bit. That plus my Reo will be around a long time. Simplicity and a solid build. Just can't say enough good things.

Hahaha! I do know what is good together! I use to use only one bottle at a time to really taste the juices. But after a while it was too much of a hassle to empty a 6ml bottle all the way, rinse, and refill. When I would combine the juices I was finding I really liked whatever it was!

I do know what to mix to get a great taste!!! Trust me!

I don't like to have to squonk longer or squonk harder to feed the juice. So when I am down low in a bottle I usually grab all my REO's that I am using and are 1/2 full or less and top all of them off. Saves time doing all at once!

I like the idea and have done some of that, just not sure anything will go well with the Boba's I'm already running now...lol. I did however notice that the 6ml bottle in this is exactly the same as the small tester bottles I bought for DIY so I should be able to swap out bottles fairly easily.
