Changing juices

That usually does the trick.

I take it all the way apart, rinse well under hot running water, and dry. If a bottom coil, like the T3S, I'll take off the post, remove the flavor wicks, and dry burn if needed, then re-rinse that part and let dry. I replace the flavor wicks with cotton yarn.

If going from a light flavor to a strong one, you can probably just refill - the strong flavor will overpower the light one pretty quickly :)
