Changing out the feeder tube on mini

I ordered a new feeder tube with cap for the mini I purchased from the classifieds, and before I just try and wing it, would like to know the proper way to change it out without screwing something up. Is it as simple as removing the phillip head screw on the face, then pull the old tube off the brass barb looking thing and slide the new one on, or is it more complicated than that?

Hi, Stacy. I'd suggest either watching Rob's video on his website for doing the upgrade, which shows how to do that part or even SuperXDrifter's video on changing the contacts where he shows that part as well. You can unscrew the old barb and screw on the new one but if it won't budge, Rob has wiggled it off, bypassing the threads that won't unlock from each other.

Basically yes, after I start it on the pin I put a drop of super glue just above it and then push it the rest of the way.

The part to be careful of is putting the screw back in for the delrin cover, Just finger tight. Stop as soon as it gets tight, do not give it that extra little bit after it stops turning.
