So I picked up another mini on the classifieds and the original owner figures they stretched the life out of the feeder tube when installing the reducer tube no biggy I have spares that i bought with my first mini.

So I guess my question is to properly change this I need to remove the derlin cover with a phillips screwdriver but are there any concerns or things i need to be aware of that can give me trouble when putting it back together ? Easier to ask now before I mess it up than panic later.

Thx for the help

I replaced the tubing on my Grand with the thicker (inside diameter is the same) tubing and I was glad I did.

On my mini's I have one w/ the thicker and one w/ the thinner. I wished that the thicker was thinner- it takes up a lot of room in the little 3ml bottle. Do you have a choice here? The replacement is straight forward. Like has been mentioned, just be careful to align the screw going back in and don't over-tighten and you should be fine (not to strip it). I didn't use super glue on my Grand Replacement tube- I suspect you really don't need it. The black box is a bit finicky. Pull the cap down on the tube to give it more room when you remove it...then twist the battery side down in the Reo and it will clear the center aluminum seperator without issue. Putting it back in will require the same twisting motion. Remember to put the tube you're replacing through the hole in the black box from the bottom BEFORE re-installing the tube to the bottom of the atty connector and then screw in the black piece. Good luck!!
