Ok. I started with an eGo (Tornado) starter kit. Regular - not a Mega - not a tank.

I love it.

One thing I don't like is having to top off my carts all the time (I'm messy - waste juice - lick nic from my fingers .. not good). So I figured I'd look for two things:

A good long drip tip and a LR 510 atty: (I've tried modifying a regular 510 atty, debridging and dewicking, and using it with a short drip tip that I don't like - but it just doesn't seem worth it). Is this all I would need? Am I missing anything here to be able to drip and be relatively happy?

Also looking to try cartomizers. I'm supposing I need a five pack of cartos and a syringe. Is this all I would need to switch to cartos? Also, should I get prefilled cartos or empty ones?

(I'm also looking to get empty bottles) - sidenote for me so I don't forget.

Just trying to stay on track. I'd hate to make a purchase and be short something ...

Am I missing anything?

If you want to try dripping, I would suggest an ego mega atty type B cylinder, with a mega drip tip. Solid atty and far ahead of a standard 510, you can even use a modded cart and hold 2mL juice.

Cartos the clearomizers (aka crackomizers) at 2.6 ohms are nice, just be sure to order some BD 3mL syringes to replace the tubes with when they crack. The vapor and flavor are great, the durability is crummy.

I've never even seen a carto yet. I'm embarrassed to say I have no idea what syringes have to do with tubes that crack. lol

I was thinking the syringes were used for filling the carto with juice.

You do use the syringes to fill the clear cartos, but when the clear tube cracks, you can use the body of the syringe (top and bottom cut off) to replace the tube. The syringe mod makes them sturdier and less likely to leak.
Sorry for the confusion, wish they came with a better tube, but the rest of the unit works very well.
