Hi there. Im new to vaping world, it s been about 1 month for me since i quit analogs.

I have a problem, that everytime i use light colored e-liquid, after a day, the color change to darker color, and everyday it is getting darker and darker. Does anybody experience the same thing?

So far no change in flavour, only color change.

Is it dangerous? Im vaping at 3.7V using Lavatube...

I'm surprised you haven't had a reply yet. This is normal - juice is composed of more than one ingredient, and they are not burned completely evenly by the coil in your tank's carto. This is also true of clearomizers (and probably cartomizers as well, although because they use filler rather than clear material we can't see it happening. It's a good idea to clean out your tank every 2-3 refills (more or less often to taste).

I have heard that that can happen and I think it depends on the juice and the nic level. I recall that there were no issues and that it was normal. I have been vaping about a month now and I haven't noticed that happen. I have used juice from a local shop that was an 80pg/20vg 28nic (kinda yellow) and some juice from virgin vapor (very clear) 80/20 18mg nic none have been of the tobacco flavors (I wanted to distance myself from that, I never really liked the flavor of cig's anyway). I'm sure someone will get in here with a better explanation.

Welcome to ECF!

No, it is not dangerous.

PG and VG are thicker than water (especially VG) and flavorings are darker than water (even the light colored ones) so when water evaporates from the e-liquid, the juice gets thicker and darker. This is especially noticeable with the Star Dust (Vision eGo clearomizer) because the tank is so clear and the large metal tube in the center conducts a lot of heat down through the liquid.

The wick also acts as a bit of a filter, allowing the lighter liquids to pass easier.

It's not a problem and, as has been stated, more frequent cleaning may be required. You will find that with the long wicked clearos like the Extreme Vision and even the ce2's, to some extent, the wicks become coated with the thicker darker components of the e-liquid and have to be cleaned to restore proper wicking action.

This has been my experience, anyway.

Enjoy!

I assume you are talking about regular cartos in a tank .... im still a newb here but if you have a turkey baster you should be able to slide the carto right in the end of it should be a snug fit may need to trim baster tip a little but if you just flush water in and out of it untill it is clean blow it out as best you can with your mouth and you should be good to go oh i always use a few drops of juice that i blow through to prime it hope this helps

Eliquid turns yellow when the nic is exposed to light . This is called tanning . It won't effect the strength of the eliquid it is normal . It won't happen in a couple of days though so this is another topic .

BDbodger brings up a good point. Exposure to sunlight will also change the color of elquid. I have been told it is do to oxidation. I make a DIY watermelon that is pink in color. If I use a clear tank or even a tank with a transparent color and take it outside, the liquid turns clear. It is still safe and tastes the same, just changes.
