ChaosAffect can't keep his GG...


I don't have one...but he seems to LOVE it...but finances (finaces? ) won't let him keep it


I want to start a pledge drive for him...

Anyone who will commit to chipping in, please post here...if we collect enough, each person will have to paypal it to him (or get it to him somehow...mail it or something?)

but I want people who will COMMIT to sending money doing it...I'd hate to have 20 people say they'll send 10 bucks each, and only half do it

I think she's less upset that I bought it in the first place, and more annoyed that it's a resource that we could be using. In the end the 'Wedding Present' really wouldn't solve anything, because I'd still have a PV w/ accessories that I could sell for a decent chunk of change, and the argument "Could you be happy with something cheaper, when we could really use the money from the GGTS stuff to pay bills and furnish the house a bit." would still be pretty valid. I'm not too proud to accept the gift as a wedding present, but the presence of the GGTS is the problem right now, and I'd still have to sell it.

So you sell the GG and then there is a collection to buy you a GG. You'll end up in the same place. Your logic is flawed my friend.

For instance, you sell the GG for say $200. Then you buy a cheaper PV for $50. Now you have $150 to spend.

or

You keep the GG and get a gift of $200.

Which way do you come out ahead?

One thing I have learned in my life is that we tend to make things more complicated than they really are.

In the end the only way to keep the peace is to not have an expensive PV at this juncture. It's all good, though. I love vaping, so I'm not planning on quitting, and GG's will continue to be available for the next 100 years or so. I'm not great at patience, but I'm learning a bit...

I think we put Chaos in a difficult position guys. Pryan had a very nice thought to open this thread but as I see it Chaos doesnt feel nice with it. Maybe he wants to try another cig and this way we push him to vape only GG. I think better to leave Chaos to do as he thinks. We will all be here to offer our help in any possible way later when he will be again with a new GG in his hands.

Thats only my opinion. But if you insist I will be part of the donation as I did with UKtarget

If you ever need a GGTS down the road Chaos it wouldn't be hard at all. You got a bunch of friends here that would help you out. I'll probably have a couple more and I'll sell you one cheap

LoL! Look at my sig line, Imeo! I've done 'Other PVs'. There's no better mechanical mod than the SSGGTS, Imeo. You're a genius. I know where I eventually want to be, but I also made the mistake of touting the GGTS' resale value. My fiance's an aspiring accountant. Need I Say More.

I feel really nice with it, but I think it's unnecessary. We're not in danger of being put out on the streets, and I'm sure our relationship would survive if I just said "I'm not selling the SSGGTS.", but as I said before I'd do pretty much anything to make her happy.
