When she becomes a wife you will suffer silentt. hahahaha. As repent said, ask the others, its free
Okay, I just didn't want Chaos to feel bad about it. If he chooses to take the presents I will throw in $20.00 :)

Imeo I'm too young for a wife, I just have a older girlfriend who wants to be my wife :)

I think she's less upset that I bought it in the first place, and more annoyed that it's a resource that we could be using. In the end the 'Wedding Present' really wouldn't solve anything, because I'd still have a PV w/ accessories that I could sell for a decent chunk of change, and the argument "Could you be happy with something cheaper, when we could really use the money from the GGTS stuff to pay bills and furnish the house a bit." would still be pretty valid. I'm not too proud to accept the gift as a wedding present, but the presence of the GGTS is the problem right now, and I'd still have to sell it.

There shouldn't even be an argument. You aren't even married yet. If you don't start chain snapping now it will only get worse.

Hey Chaos, you could always put a little scratch mark on it and tell her that the resale value just dropped by 80% since it's not in mint condition anymore... :)

But I'm sure that would be considered a sacrilege by any respectable GG owner, a self inflicted wound for the sake of self preservation :)

HA! Repent, nooooo.
I'm not the one who should be in charge.
This wonderful idea wasn't mine.
It was .... ummm.... it was...Pryan's I think.

Now were talking. One of us send him the bottom cap. Another send him the tube, another send him the telescope.....Everyone getting my drift?

Skye, collect the money and send him a SSGGTS one bit at a time. :)

Unfortunately, it's already got a small scratch on it. Made me so sad when I saw it.

Count me in as well but if I may offer a suggestion (yes even senile old guys have suggestions :p). Imeo is working hard to get product produced and shipped. Ad to the fact we're dealing with a currency exchange to send it to Imeo and then him to send it back and it would make more sense to have someone in the US coordinate this, yes?

Just a thought but let us know what protocol we're going to use. :)

LoL. No kidding, but before this goes any further let me clarify: There's no circumstance where I can keep a GGTS at the current time. I'm going to be relegated to a lesser mod, so if y'all are talking about a collection to buy me one then it's moot. As I said, my pride won't keep me from accepting a wedding gift, though. It's been kinda a PITA trying to swing the wedding by ourselves.
You have to keep it or I was wrong in the poll!!!!

I'm in for $20 for a good friend.:thumb: I would want to give him a wedding present anyway........

Nah bro. You're family. We all have different things to deal with in real life. And you're a part of it whether you have to do without a GGTS for a bit or not.

The GG series may be what brings us together but it's the atmosphere of care and concern that Imeo created with this sub-forum that keeps us together. The only time someone is no longer a part of the GG family is when they for whatever reason make a conscious decision they don't want to be a part. That's not the case you're dealing with so all is well. :)
