Comes down to:

How old are the batteries and what have you been using on 'em.

As the batteries age out the charge time increases while the run time between charges decreases. I have 2 year old 900 & 1000 mAh Joyetech batteries and they take 4+ hours to charge.

LR stuff is hard on all batteries and especially this type it seems. The lower the resistance of the devices you are using the faster it wears out batteries.

Since you have already tried both the DC adapter and a USB port we can eliminate the DC adapter as a source of any problem. You might have a problem with the charger dongle, but I'm doubting that. The only way to rule that in/out would be to get a second charger dongle and see if the batteries are behaving the same. (You are using a 420 mAh charger dongle, aren't you? Check the little plate on the back.)

Thanks for the reply Rickajho.

I got a new charger a couple weeks ago to replace one of my other chargers that broke and it has fixed the issue.

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1290800

All of my ego's were taking FOREVER to charge, 1300= 11hrs, 900=8hrs, 650's=6hrs. (Wall adapter or Usb) I had no idea why as all 3 of my usb chargers acted the same way and assumed it was just how it was going to be. All 3 chargers came in kits like these..

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1354707

The only difference I noticed is that the metal charging shaft protruding from the new charger was a bit longer than all the rest that I had gotten previously. My charge times are now...

1300= 4hrs
900= 3hrs
650= 2.5hrs

I'm very pleased that it's now fixed. So if you're having issues I suggest looking into this charger.

Good to know you have reasonable charge times now.

Although the point is moot now, you could try working up the center pin on the Egos or the other chargers. Sometimes the center pin in the 510 connection of the Ego style batteries gets pushed down by delivery systems or over-tightening. Just use something small, like a paper clip and gently pry up on the center pin, work all the way around a couple of times, not sure if chargers suffer from this, but trying won't hurt anything. Just make sure the Ego is switched off, or the charger is unplugged.

Disregard the above if you already know this, and I suspect you do.

That, and cleaning the contacts on the batteries and the charger. E-liquid in there lowers conductivity.

Double checked and I get three full counter clockwise rotations before it stops charging.
