manual says unplug after charging. anyone leave thiers plugged in all the time? getting annoying reaching behind the nightstand a few times a day, lol....wondering if people have had good or bad luck leaving it in all the time. the green light being on all the time with no battery charging makes me wonder if its doing anything....

manual says unplug after charging.

Please always do what the manufacturer manual says.

Li-Ion chargers do not fully cut off cause their controller must test the charge level with current pump pulses. This can reduce lifetime.

And use overvoltage protection mid-plugs to protect from thunderstorm lightnings hitting Your local power grid.

I guess I'm just one “Wild and Crazy Guy”, because I didn't check with anyone. I would be happy to discuss the possibility of the current leaking down, but I am not willing to take apart my only charger to check it.

Also I suspect any current lost would be so small no one would care. At most the battery is left in the charger 8 to 12 hours after it shuts off. The capacity of the battery is so small any meaningful current drain would show up as a voltage loss at the battery. I will test voltage of a battery standing for 8 hours vs battery voltage of battery left in a charger for 8 hours. But since I have already been using this method with success I don't believe I will lose much, maybe not any.

Since I don't have a laboratory I will have to make due with simple observations. But even if there is a voltage drop an amateur like my-self would need to consider the possibility that we are only loosing the surface charge, due to the internal resistance of the battery itself. Because, as we both know that would effect our measurements with out giving meaningful information.

I'm glad you brought this up, although a little resentful that you assume I have no clue.

Leave batteries on the charger, it will not hurt them, turn it off if you wish and it still won't hurt the batteries, natural discharge over time of the batteries will not be noticeable, you can store them at whatever voltage you like, you are supposed to leave 40 percent charge in your batteries but these aren't long life batteries, a 901 battery is useless far quicker than say a mobile telephone battery and cheap to replace so enjoy your ecig without worrying too much apart from is the battery charged hehehe!

I leave my chargers plugged in all the time. Most of the time they have a battery screwed in them. I charge my 901 batteries over night or all day; they are dead and I'm not home or sleeping. I have been basically using the same 4 batteries since November 26th. They are getting a little dodgy but still working for the most part. That is just my own experience with 901 batteries.

Not recommended. The battery could discharge cause of the e.g. leakage current of the charger's output circuit.

Pls always ask Your sellers and manufacturers before doing such amateur stuff.

Ok, My supplier said "Sure do that if you want. If anything breaks Ill sell you another."

The manufactures response was a bit more confusing.

定时器是好! 愉快的天!
