Charger for Vision Spinner

Hey guys! I have a question about getting a charger for my new Vision Spinner.

I just received it today, and didn't realize I needed to buy a charger for it as well. Most of the batteries I've bought came with one, but not this one apparently. I just ordered this:

you can use any ego charger w/ that batt.

So I got the charger, when it's working it gets pretty hot. The wall usb unit and connector are both putting out a fairly large amount of heat, is that normal?

I have that charger and never noticed heat when charging my spinner.

Do you think I should discontinue use of the charger? It's not extremely hot, just warm.

I don't have a spinner, but I have 2 standard ego-c 650's and a 1000 twist. Even if I charge all three in a row, I get no heat at all
However... If I charge them on the PC via USB port, they(the batts) get a lil warm... But not hot by an means.

When I charge my spinner the charger gets a bit warm for me too. Never really thought too much about it tho...

My 1300 mAh spinner does not get hot when charging, I never really felt the charger. I am using a cheapy eGo 500 mAh charger and USB dongle.

mine gets warm on my 650maH ego batts too. normal I'd say. If you can cook bacon on it,unplug that .....!

I've got a 1300mah spinner. First time I charged it the charger itself got rather warm almost hot. The second time it didn't do that. The light on the charger acts a little weird though. The light starts out red then after a few seconds get an occasional green blink. I just let it do its thing and it charges with no issues. Only got hot the one time.

Mine blinks intermittently when battery is almost to full charge.

The LED on the USB plug flashes for me red-green-red-green.....

None of these chargers or batteries should get even slightly warm while charging.

I have a 1300 mAh Spinner battery and use my eGo fast charger on it. It puts out 420 ma I think. Nothing gets warm. That's the same charger I use for my Twists and my eGo 650 bat.

If you have a charger that is warming up or warming your battery during charge, I suggest you do not continue to use it. Email or call the vendor and talk it over with them. I consider this a dangerous situation. At the very least it will reduce the lifespan of your batteries and at worst it will cause your battery to meltdown/explode. Not worth the possible pain in my opinion.

Most vendors will sell u a charger for that thing for 5$. Just order a juice or something from them. Thats what i did. I got two for 5$ just for asking. Good luck!
