I just got a Halo Triton and was wondering if attaching a male to female USB extension cable between the Power supply and the USB charger will cause any problems? Does it mess with the voltages or anything else important? The current setup limits what outlets I can use in my house because I need enough room for the charger and battery to be able to stick out near the outlet.

A USB cable extension should pose no problem at all as long as it is from Halo. I have the Triton as well but I have not seen a cable amoung the acessories. With normal (long) extensions there is a voltage drop which might be a problem--you might want to ask Halo, also.
Make sure you use the USB connector supplied by Halo marked "Halo." If you use the one marked "G6" you could ruin the battery.
I hope this helps. Good vaping.

USB is nothing more than a wire with a plug on the end, nothing electronic in the cable. As signals travel through they weaken and that is the major reason for length limits on USB cables. DC current also has problems with long cables but as long as you are not building a 100' monster out of 20 cables there will be no problem. Even if you do go too long the problem will be that the mod will be slow to charge or not charge at all, no damage.

Thanks everyone. I assumed the most critical piece was the actual Triton branded USB charger itself. What's between that and the outlet seems to be pretty standard equipment for the most part. Just wanted to see if there was any known issues or reasons not to add an extension cable, and everyone seems to confirm my original assumption.
