so i bought a provari mod, and the shop sold me a trustfire tr-001 charger
which works ok
underneath the charger it says, charge 10430, up to 18650 batteries,

but the question is, would it charge a 2600mah evic mod battery?

If that 2600mah battery is an 18650 battery then yes it will.

Just Curious.

What Brand of Battery is that 2600mah 18650 that you have?

My recommendation would be to run AW IMR Batteries in your Provari. I don't run trustfires in anything anymore. You get what you pay for.

Is the OP using Trustfire Batteries?

I would NEVER Recommend that they Do. But I didn't see that He/She said that He/She was.

OP said they were using an evic mod battery. I'm assuming it's the battery that comes in the Evic starter kit? Does anyone know what that battery is?

Also, I haven't heard good things about Trustfire chargers either. I use a Nitecore i2 charger and high drain, AW IMR button top batteries in my Provari. The Provari's chip was designed to work best with those, and they are the safest option.

The Early Revision Trustfire TR-001's didn't have any Problems.

I have a both Rev"1" and a Rev"2" and they have Worked Flawlessly. But Later Revs definitely did have their Share of Problems.

No word on the OP Battery Type. I'm sure they will come back and tell us. There is a Big Time Difference between where the OP Lives and where Most of Us Live.

The battery in my eVic starter kit was a Samsung ICR 18650, 2600 mAh. Not a good choice today.
