So been using my trust fire charger (which is authentic) to charge all my batteries but it may seem that I'm doing wrong by doing so...I charge my mnke and 2 sonys vtc4 and vtc5 but have read online that these chargers are pos and to invest in better charger (which is reason for this post) although like I said has been working like a charm and only thing about it is that it takes its sweet ... time to recharge so any ideas on if I should upgrade or just keep it or what's up?

There have been reports of TF batteries and chargers going up in smoke, and hence a frequent comment to not trust anything with FIRE in the name... but what percent are bad is hard to say. And they do tend to charge at a very low and slow rate!

But you really should have a backup charger, as well as backups to everything else :)

I use an Xtar as my primary, has user selectable settings for charging rate, for different mAh rated batteries. Works well. Nitecore also usually gets good reviews.

Practice safe charging. Don't charge unattended. Charge on a heat resistant surface.

So you are saying that your Trustfire Charger works fine. But that you don't like the Amount of Time it takes to charge a Battery.

How long does it take to charge your Batteries?

Takes it about 6-8 hrs and no what I'm asking is if it's safe or should I just upgrade

I think if you Look long enough you can Find problems with Any Charger.

I used a Trustfire TR-001 for over a Year. Never had a Single Glitch. I finally bought a Nitecore charger. Not because I didn't like my TR-001, but because I could also 1.2V AA Batteries in it.

If you are doing OK Money Wise, sure, buy another Charger. That way you will have 2 Working Charges. And one can Back-Up the Other.

BTW - You will Probably extend the Life of your Batteries if you Don't Drain them down so far before Charging.

Well you see that's the thing I'm on the road 16+ hours a day and sometimes I don't notice the low voltage until there's barely a hit which by then it's at 3.3 -3.2 and don't get a chance to recharge

Gotcha...

Batteries Aren't that expensive. So if you shorten the Life of them it Isn't Exactly the End of the Road.

I have 3 Batteries I use in Rotation. That way I don't have to Drain any one of them down below 3.6v. And I always have a Back-Up to my Back-Up.

The only charger I use is the XTar VP1. It has 3 charging rates; .25A, .5A, and 1.0A. I rarely use the 1.0A setting. The slower you charge, the better it is for your batteries. I have enough batteries in rotation that time is never an issue, for me. Anyone looking to upgrade their charger, I highly recommend the XTar.
