batteries have a C rating which is the safe charge/discharge for that battery and trust me because I have done this myself accidently with RC LiPo's and the result of overclocking your charger is NOT pretty. Think about what a battery is...it's basically a chamber of toxic chemicals that cause an electron flow by reacting with each other. Recharging a battery is using an outside power source to reverse that reaction. I don't know about you but I like my toxic chemicals to stay inside their containers.
