I have to get a new charger. I need a 4 bay, preferably 6 bays or more. With the sales coming up, do you think I'll be able to find one cheaper? Or should I go ahead and order the Efest 6 bay for 20 bucks? Probably won't find it much cheaper, but I figured you guys would know.

How do you guys feel about the Efest? I've only had Nitecore

I would recommend a charger that has some diagnostic functions built in:
    • measure the internal resistance of the battery in each bay
    • measure the mAH of each battery
Recently I supplemented a Nitecore charger with a Opus as the Nitecore did not have any diagnostic functions. Yes all the chargers will charge your batteries however only a few offer extra diagnostic functions that may/will come in handy.

    Just a thought.

And a good one too. I have an opus 3400, refreshed a few old cells. My favorite piece of vape accessories..

I originally started with a Nitecore I4, but recently changed to an Xtar VP4 and couldn't be happier. Not only faster charging and showing the status, but was amazed how much smoother the slides were. I4 is now stored as a backup, but as is usually the case here, I'm now tempted to check out the Opus.

Good price. I've got a 4 bay LUC that's been solid in daily use for a year. I'd buy it.

I"m not seeing Xtar, only Nitecore and Efest chargers? I don't see anything about Black Friday, either. Is it this site?

    Battery Chargers

Oops, sorry. I should have said Illumination Supply. I had Lightning Vapes on my mind because I was looking at wire.

I agree. However, accurately measuring the internal resistance with a charger is difficult. The resistance added by the charger bays is high and the connections fairly loose.

i hear the opus is excellent.........Ive had many Nitecores and eventually tossed them out as they would get too hot.........switched over to Xtar VC4s and VC2s and couldn't be happier
The Opus is indeed great. It's my main charger. The Xtar vc4 is my travel charger.
