With the vp4 I can oly charge 2 26650 at a time? Not single? What about 18650? Can they be charge single or double at a time?
Opinions on chargers?

Single or double on either size. 18650 can be done 3 or 4 also... or any combo of batts that fit.
There's just 2 bays that fit 26650.

Also is it true that the two bats are better quality then 4 bay? Also do these chargers revive dead cells? And I can't really find out the difference between the vp4 and vc4?

For up to 26650 and 4 bay I would say the VP4 for best overall versatility.
Just because "a lot" of something is being sold doesn't mean anything. Xtar has outstripped Trustfire for failure complaints on ECF and eFest LUC v4 is catching up with reports of bays failing one at a time.
Four independent bays. Any battery, any size, any capacity - any bay. With the physical exception of 26650's - only the two outer bays are of a larger size needed to fit 26650 batteries.
Just one last question before I place a order. Does anyone know the difference between the vc4 and vp4? Also should I order directly off the xtar site or the RTD website everyone talks about? Or even ebay?
Any reputable vendor that gives the best deal after all is said and done.
I don't know the differences off hand. I seeked out the best of what was available when I was in the market and I know what I have. The rest, I can't speculate on.

From what I am reading on the specs, the VC will charge at 1amp, using only the outside bays.

I have the Nitecore i4 and the Efest LUC 4. Both are good, but the LUC 4 gives you independent bar graphs that show charging progress with an actual voltage reading, also. You can pop a battery in it to check its voltage and that's a good feature. The LUC 4's two center slots are enlarged for 26650's. All 4 slots will charge 18xxx batteries.
My favorite is the LUC 4. Lately, I'm into USB charged iSticks. I have the 20W and the 50W. I can charge in my pickup and not have to carry a battery box around anymore. I still charge 18650's in the LUC 4 for my Provari V2.

Good catch though, I never considered a 4 bay before so I automatically check specs on 2 bay models only.
Depends how OCD you are do really need to know the battery really only holds 2375 when the label says 2500?. I'm sure the average person can go " hey this battery doesn't hold a charge anymore" without a gauge telling you its dying

While I would so like to agree with you, I can't count the number of times people have not known their cell was dead or dying until told hey if you are having to charge it ever 10 minutes its dead, maybe with something like that they will realize while they still have time to get new ones.
(ok so the 10 minutes is an exaggeration but not by much)
I agree Nancy that's why I said, it's a great feature but I don't think it is the one feature to make or break a purchase, unless you feel you need it.
What we really need is chargers that can test a battery, tell you mah, amp limit, best load level to run at etc
The man gauge is an awesome step in the right direction, but I don't think it defines the purchase over other features. ( I'm kinda wanting to play with the newer 4.35 batteries myself)

So basically the vp only tells you the volts? And the bc tells you volts and mahs?
