So i've just got my 22650 mnke and the only charger i've got is my trustfire charger with side switches to charge either to 4.2 or 3.7 volts. Will it be alright if i keep checking up on it and look at the Voltage with a multimeter?

That charger will be very slow with big batteries. It also doesn't fully stop charging when the batts are full. Here's a review of it. Conclusions at the bottom of the page.
I try to never leave any charger running when I'm not in the house and awake, but I would be very cautious about that with this one. Definitely check battery voltage when the charge is done.
You can do that - but you may be doing it for nearly 24 hours before a Trustfire completes charging a 26650 battery. You really need to move up to a better charger. Consider Xtar or Pila. Don't cheap out on your charger.
