Charging a VV battery

I have my ego twist set at around 4.3-4.4 volts and i was wondering, if i were to turn down the voltage would it charge faster or would it even make a difference?

It won't make a difference on how fast it charges, only how fast it discharges ... charge rate is dependent on the charger.

no difference, you can make your battery last longer though, higher voltage with a STD carto.. You will be running lower amps, your battery won't get as hot or die as fast, 2.4-3ohm would be perfect. A lot of people disagree, that is only because they don't understand the difference between voltage and current. good luck.
