Just wondering if anyone is aware if overcharging an ego battery can do harm. Can I leave my ego battery in the charger before I go to bed, and just take it off in the morning, or would this shorten its lifespan?
Get a charging bag or make a charging box from an old defunct computer case or similar. Never leave any batteries charging unattended. Charging batteries while you sleep is a hazard - and you should avoid it unless taking other precautions like a charging bag or metal box for charging.
I try to not leave my fat batts charging overnight, but it happens and I have not lost a battery by leaving it charging all night. I still have ego-t 1000 mah, ego-tv 1300 mah, and ego-t 750 mah that I used everyday and have lasted for at least six months (so far - they are are still doing their jobs.
