charging lipos

I recently got my first dna device (VT200 1300 mah battery) and it seen to take forever to charge from my computer so i was wondering how you all charged your lipos and how i can get the fastest charge safely. I thought at first that it would support 2 amp charging but then i read something like that a 1300 Mah battery should be charged at 1.3, a 2000 at 2.0 or a 2300 mah would be charged at 2.3. I don't know if the latter two batterys even exist but that is how i understand the math. So what should i do to get the fastest charge and can someone suggest an optimal charger? Thanks in advance.

The charger is part of the chipset inside your device. Did you go through escribe?.

Did you get a wall charger with it. I would suggest that. I never use a usb to charge.

I got a usb cable but no wall plug and i do have a couple wall chargers, one with a 1.5 output and a 2.0. i didn't think to try them because i thought all usbs were the same but ill give it a try and see what happens.

With my vt200 - I use an Apple iPad wall charger - watching the vt200 - it usually just charges at a little less than 1amp - I don't bother using a pc usb plug as it seems to supply less

The Vt200 uses an Evolv DNA200 board that is limited to 1 amp charging.

If you're charging via a computer usb it's most likely charging at 0.5 amps

Try charging with a cell phone charger block or a block that supports at least 1amp charging (most generic charger blocks are 1amp) which is the cap for most DNA200 devices.
