Hi,

I got my first setup yesterday (evic, protank2 and an extra original joyetech 3400 mah battery). While I am very pleased with how vaping is, I am concerned on the battery.

I am charging it inside the evic with the provided USB wall charger and it took 12%->98% less than 3 hours (with disconnects in between to vape outside). On joyetech's site it states that the charge of the 2600 mah battery takes up to 8 hours... I set the device on 3400 mah as soon as I upgraded to the latest firmware.

Is it something wrong with my battery / evic or the info on their site is wrong? Judging how fast my phone is charging I would say their info is wrong...

Anyone else with an evic that can shed some light?

I suppose the question is "do you feel you can rely on the battery % meter on the eVic?"

Like mobile phones, going from almost "out" to 95% is never going to take long. I charge mine out of the eVic @ 500mAh and it takes 7 hours or so. My nitecore charger gives the impression they are 2/3rds charged after only 1-2 hours.
