Charging Mat

I was just wondering if anyone has tried charging their PV batt's with one of those charging mats they sell for cell phones? You know the kind that you just set the device right on top of it? I've been wondering about buying one anyway so the thought of just sticking a handfull of 510 and eGo batt's on it sounds appealing.

The misleading thing about those is that you need to use one of their batteries or adapters to charge EACH device. I serioudly doubt they will ever make one to fit our type batteries.

Yeah...that's not going to work for any PV at this point. None of them have the inductive charging capacity.

Each device you wish to charge on that requires a special back-plate (think battery cover). This relays the charge from the mat to the battery. It's more complicated than that, but that's the easiest way of explaining it.

Now, if someone made a PV that had that capability (would probably have to be a box mod) or rigged an adapter that would fit onto an ecig battery, we'd be in business.

You're right, it would. The could make it in the shape of an ashtray.
