Is the ego a lithium Ion battery? Should I let the battery completely die before charging it.

I have been charging them every night even if they are not close to dead.

I heard somewhere that a lithium Ion battery is best kept at a full charge but I'm not sure if that is true or not.

Whoa! I didn't know that either and have been going dead before I recharge. THANKS!
and another question, I know on my 'old' Blu, if you left the battery on the charger longer than it took to charge, like 2 hours, you can kill the battery. Is that the same do you think for the eGo mega's? I'd love to be able to charge one over night.

ah, maybe that is the problem I'm having, I wait till I suck the life out of the battery then charge it up and they both are not keeping a charge, they run out after about 1/2 hour of use...which has been causing me anxiety for the past 3 days...LOL...more batts on the way, but only 2 to run on and a PCC for charging...thanks for this article.

The control circuits in the battery actually keep you from discharging them too far. As long as you stop vaping when the LED starts blinking you should be okay. That's the way I've always treated PV batteries, mainly due to force of habit from older technologies. Charging them well before they really need it certainly does not appear to hurt anything either, though.
