I posted about this a couple weeks ago. I got 2 new evod vv 1000mah batteries and when I charge one...the button light stays on till the green light comes on on the charger showing its done...the other one charges with the button light on till the charger goes green then the button light goes off and then the charger goes back to red and charges the battery again usually resulting in a 3 to 4 hr wait time. Is this going to shorten the battery life on the second battery or is it just a bad battery?

When it "charges with the button light on till the charger goes green then the button light goes off" that should mean the battery is fully charged. "Then the charger goes back to red and charges the battery again" .... this should not happen, and could shorten the battery life.

More concerning is without knowing exactly why it is happening, it could create a dangerous situation, where the battery could vent. There is something amiss with the battery or charger if it's not following the standard charge light functions.

Ego chargers are finicky. I first clean the battery posts, then the charger. Then I plug the USB part in, then slowly twist the battery on. If I know it needs a charge, I stop twisting when it's Red on the charger(on my Joye ego).

Don't allow it to charge out of your sight-range until you solve this. Check often for heat at the battery or charger.

Have you swapped chargers and batteries with each other to determine which works best?? Remember not to over-tighten everything...

I've used my ego t charger on these evods and regular ego t batteries all the time and this one evod is the only battery doing this. I do keep all contacts clean and I screw all batteries in till the red light kicks on, I never over tighten them. It's just 1 evod out of the two I got that's doing this....I posted about this the first time it happened which was the first time I charged it and people acted like it may be a 1 time thing but it isn't .
