Charging question

Can I charge a ultrafire/trustfire 3.7v on a 4.8/7.2/9.6 volt nickel-cadmium charger? I't's a radio shack charger used to charge thoes big battery packs for RC cars and stuff...I know how to mod it to hook the positive and negative up to it...just not sure that it being a 4.8v+ nicad charger would be safe or damage the battery.

I know your not supposed to cross battery types up with things but hell...figured I would ask lol.

You need a charger that shuts off at or a few hundreths of a volt past 4.2. Sorry, but no.
