I tried out my kit (650 MaH vv Ego Twist, 1,300 MaH vv Spinner, Vision clearomizer and Mini Protank from MyVaporStore) last week and I didn't fully charge them first since it was taking too long. Since then I've found it takes around 11 hours to charge my Spinner and about six hours or more for the Twist. Is this normal? I also have connection issues even though I wipe them down and don't over tighten. Sometimes the battery will flash as though the connection was made but the charger stays green even when I know it's not fully charged.
It's a Joye 500/420 charger with an iTaste 1,000 wall wart. I ordered another Joye charger from Vapingme. I figured I should have a back up anyway- also got another Spinner and Protank. Hopefully this way I'll always have one ready to go. But I wondered if it's supposed to take that long or if my charger has issues.

I would think maybe 4 hours, 5 hours max? My original 900 mAh ego batteries were taking about 3-4 hours to charge...the wall wart that came with them was a 2 amp charger.

I know when I got my 18650 batteries, they came with a cheapie charger and it was taking over 12 hours to charge them, but when replaced with a Nitecore charger, the time dropped to about 3 hours.

The higher mah rating on your battery the longer it will take to charge. My usb charger only puts out 420ma which in theory would charge a 420mah battery in one hour. The output of your wall wort could be limiting if its rated less than the charger itself. Also, non powered usb hubs may not put out that many Ma. My 1300mah Vision spinner takes about 3.5 hours to charge from LVC with the stock charger and 1A wall wort. 11 hours is way too much I would say and its time to investigate further.

Do you have another wall wart you can try? Just to rule that out.

THIS!!!! ^ ^ ^!!!
The wall wart that comes with that starter kit from MVS is anemic at best!!:( It's only rated @ 150mA output!!!
Use a better wall wart/converter....one that comes with an iPhone or iPad works great....charge time for me went from ~10 hours(!!) with the MVS unit to ~3 hours with my iPhone "wart"....
Good Luck!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I had two bum chargers from MVS.... Actually the ones I got didn't have MVS printed on them. Didn't matter what wall wart I used , would take forever to charge. Fill out a help request, they are pretty good about making things right. They sent me two more chargers and this time had MVS on them and both work great. I use an iphone 4s wall wart instead as well. Sent back the wall wart and one charger and kept two good ones and one of the old for an overnight charge (which I never really do anyways).

Now they charge in about 3.5 hours. After 8 months I notice they are starting to lose the charge a bit faster, but still kicking.

I use an iphone wall wart. They run at 2 amp or 2000 mAmp/hour.(some run at 2.1amp) My 650 mah eGo clone batteries charge in about 30 minutes. My 1100 mah eGO Twist battery charges in about 2 hours although I am not sure why. I think it is because of the charger blinking constantly while the clone ones don't blink. If I use my computer the times are more than double or triple depending on whether I use front or back usb ports. I think my front ones have a short (win7 tells me they are usb 1). So I have stopped using them.
