Charging questions

Hello all,

Just got my VK UU Manual kit in the mail yesterday. Haven't tried it out yet, trying to get everything situated. I've done quite a bit of searching on the forum, and would like to verify a few things:

1) The USB charger (the one with the cord): What does the solid blue LED mean? Will it change colors when the battery is full?

2) Should I expect the batteries to take 3-4 hours to charge in the PCC? How long might they take when plugged into the USB or A/C charger?

Hopefully will have time to put everything together tonight and try it all out.

solid blue either in standby or the batt is charged, it turns red when charging,
about the same time ive never really timed it.

My order of lower nic carts hasn't come in yet, so I'm holding off till it gets in before I start back with vaping. When I was using the Sidesho, I think the 24mg stuff I had was way too strong for me, but sadly didn't realize that until I had already ordered 24mg cartos with my VK kit. So hopefully that order will make it's way here tomorrow so I can try this thing out.

If you find the 24 cartos too harsh for you, you can refill with a lower nic liquid. It's a great way to try out different levels of nic. The V4L has a great sale on liquid right now.
There is also a cartomizer swap thread at the top of the page.

Well, the 24mg wasn't too harsh, it was just that I found myself chain vaping. Since I was suddenly able to 'smoke' at my desk both at work and at home, and being so excited that I had absolutely zero interest in analogs, it was really a matter of over-consumption.

I had this weird high throughout the day, and then at times I was so wired at night I couldn't get to sleep. The worst part came when experimenting with cart refilling techniques. I hit what I thought was the jackpot amount of juice and filler position. Excellent throat hit and vapor, and lasted for the equivalent of about 3 analogs. And of course, getting sooo sick to my stomach one night and not being able to get to sleep till about 04:30. It may have been a combination of both vaping the juice and getting it on my fingers with all the refilling nonsense, but it wasn't too hard of a decision that I needed to try something else.

The next day, I ordered the VK. At the time I was thinking that it was mainly the cart-refilling I'd done that was to blame, so I stuck with 24mg for my first order. But after re-thinking through things, I put in a 2nd order for some 18mg cartos and several 5ml bottles of 18mg juice, to help account for my apparent lack of self-control.

So I wait patiently for that 2nd order to arrive, in hopes I can once again get off the analogs, but this time without the hassle, un-fun high, and sickliness

I will second that my first week I was vaping about twice as often as I smoked, but since then I have cut back alot and now vape less than I used to smoke. My smileys can't compete with Taryn's
