Charging smoketip

Hi,
Just got my smoketip but have a couple questions... I know I found a post about charging time issues before with smoketip but ive been looking for an hour and cannot find it now. Anyhow, it says to charge it for 6-8 hours before use and that it will change from red to green when fully charged, but its already green! What does this mean? Did the batteries come fully charged and the 6-8 hours is after they start to get low? Do I have a bad connection (if so why is the light green)? Thanks for the help!

I think most come partly charged to mostly charged when you get them. If The light has turned stedy green it should be fully charged.

I recently got SmokeTip myself, and had similar questions. I got the answers through Kristi at the co. and my own practice. New batteries are shipped with a partial charge (40%-50%) and will NOT turn the lights red. New batteries should be charged 6-8 hours the first time to fully activate the battery chemistry. After use, you should charge the batteries 2-3 hours. If the lights aren't RED for a dead battery, they are not charging, even if the tip blinks...so push the battery deeper into the USB to get the lights red. I wasted several hours on this, so I know! I would give the batteries the full 2-3 hours even if the lights change sooner, since they will switch to green/blue before it is fully charged. Hope this helps.
