Charging through device nowadays?

@The60WattGUY I got the charging cables today and tried them on Sensis #3. Unfortunately, the charging port is already damaged and so the new cable isn't helping. I'll have to wait until my new one arrives.

I just wanted to add to this thread that I think a line similar to 'Use the supplied cable to charge device' should be read as 'If you must use the internal charger in this device, use the supplied cable or one that is of the same type and is certifiably operational'. The cost of the additional ink for all those extra words would skyrocket the products prices however, and besides, what about the children?

Lets be honest thou,common sense is not that not abundant in the real world.
If more people had common sense as a character trait we wouldn't have things like this:
