charing evos with a usb?

I got my new evo in today, and it is much much better than the model I have from smoking-everywhere.com

it only came with a usb charger and I am wondering if these really have the power to recharge these batteries, since my blackberry wont even charge through a laptop.

I charge my EVO from my HP laptop with no problems.

Have got the old style charger with a lead on it. Takes about 20-30 mins to charge.

i have the new charger that is the size of a jump drive...ive had it plugged in for 5 hours and the light is still not on

just moved it to my ps3, i plugged it in, its a mighty atom battery (the small one) it blinked three times and its still not illuminated as if its charged....the manual was just a small card so I'm a little bit confused

ignore the light. hardly ever works. the USB plug will give you a good solid charge after about an hour. some people have luck and theirs light up, mine has only done so twice, i just time it and charge around an hour and get the same battery life as leaving it on for like 4 hours.

I've ordered an Intellicig EVO with USB charger, which should hopefully be here tomorrow, but I'm wondering if I can charge it from my Xbox 360, or even my car stereo, which has a USB port? Or will it only work from a PC/laptop?

I haven't tried charging mine from my 360 but it should work fine. Dunno about the stereo.

ok cheers. I have a feeling the USB on the stereo won't work, which is a shame as I think the car charger adaptor will mean the battery gets in the way of 5th gear! Might just have to try it anyway and see what happens.

i'd say no on the stereo unit. generally they just accept data and don't output power, especially enough for an ecig. seems like someone has posted about that before as well, but who knows where the thread is

360 should work, as will Wii, you can also buy a wall/usb plug, those are way handy.

Those wall/usb plugs are great. In fact Intellicig sell them so you could get one from there.
