Ya the vtr is heavy but they do hold up vary well dropped mine on the concrete floor at work so many times still no issues free scratches but that's about it.

They are a bit hefty but most mods seem heavy at first and you quickly adjust. The plus side is the vtr is one of the heaviest mods I know of so if you get something else later it'll seem light for sure.
