I know a couple people who've had there cigs leaking in their mouth from the first puff. My dad bought a Fuma E-cig from a local tobacco shop. It's pretty nice and it's $39 for starter kit w/ USB and Wall Charger, and 2 cartridges. Is there anything out there that I can find thats even cheaper than that, but doesn't leak or break down?

And my dad wanted me to ask if he bought a refill cartridge from, say, Blucigs.com, would he be able to fit they're cartridges onto his Fuma? Because the Fuma cartridges are about 2x more expensive at the store he gos to.

I do not know which Chinese model Fuma uses. Blu cartos has 510 threading but Blu is an L88b (less charge and reverse polarity vs real Joye 510). Their cartomizers are male and their batteries female.

All ecigs can leak though ones that use cartomizers are less likely to leak much vs ones that use atomizer + cartridge. A cartridge is more likely to dump its juice.

All ecigs can break down. Heating elements - separate atomizers can lose performance or die. Cartomizers have limited lifespans (maybe 4-14 days if refilled with appropriate juice). Automatic batteries (which are probably what you have) are prone to being damaged or killed by even small juice leaks because they are totally dependent on a small physical drag sensor right inside the hole in the middle of the threaded end of the battery. All batteries may lose the ability to hold a charge as well after 150-200 recharges.

I use manual batteries and cartomizers. Cartomizers are an additional expense but if I alternate two and use thin clear juices then I can get at least 2 weeks use out of the pair so that is $4-6 per 2-weeks additional cost for using cartomizers. I only use atomizers for testing juices.

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping

Press the 20% off on the upper left of the Liberty-Flights.com front page
Joye 510 manual (180mah) - small manual model
(there is also a long 280mah manual Joye 510 xl but you would look elsewhere for that)
Riva 510 (750mah) - a popular fat-battery model
and
Boge 510 cartomizers (standard resistance only for the slim 510, standard or the hotter LR ones for Riva 510)

Those are my suggestions.

I agree with dormouse. I started with the Riva Lite Kit from Liberty-Flights. These are manual, push-button activated. The automatics are prone to leaking. If you don't want to go the atomizer and/or kit route, you can get a single Riva 750 battery from L-F for 11.99 and a box of Boge or SmokTech cartomizers for about $7.99 and have a setup with a battery that will last for 5-8 hours, depending on use. The charger for that battery at L-F is $7. All of these are excellent prices compared to most places, and shipping is fast and cheap, too.

My first e-cig was the Fuma, I believe it to be a KR808d2. Looking at the insides of the cartomizer it's a horizontal coil like the Bloog and the Volt which are KR808d1, so you wont be able to mix and match the Fuma and Bloog/Volt but they do preform like if not better then the Fuma. The Volt by Smokeless Image has the best prices.
Good Luck
