The fasttech ones were horrible. Paid less than $5 for a 5 pack, so I thought I'd give them a shot. Every hit tasted like a dry hit, even with my thinnest juice. Also they would fall apart if you even looked at them the wrong way. I hope these are better quality. I get a little tired of how much the Joyetech ones cost, and now I mostly use the eRoll at work and when I'm out. If they were a bit cheaper, I'd use it all the time.

I can second this. The Fasttech knockoffs are terrible. They leak, don't wick well, and definitely fall apart in a VERY short amount of use. Even at that price, not worth it at all as they are all but unusable in my experience.

FYI - I ordered some from chinabuye :

Detachable No Cotton Wick Electronic Cigarette Atomizer with Replacement Atomizer Cores - Stainless Steel Color

received in-hand in the US 11 days after ordering (with the cheap shipping).. 5 for $6.30

FWIW, they offer just the atomizer for $1.30 each, which actually costs more than this "kit"..

I've only tested one so far, but it's working fine..

I saw another post referencing some cheap ones at Fastech, but darned if I could find them..

Any update? I'd like to get an order of atty's in pretty soon and would much rather spend $7 than $25 with shipping...

Sorry.. so far, I got one great one (the first one), I tried to swap out another in my second e-roll, and the next two atomizers really sucked - they were so awful and burnt-tasting that I took that e-roll out of comission... I didn't want to get that burnt stank in my mouth again, so I haven't tried the other two yet.. gonna try them out today..

The Chinabuye kit wasn't a total loss - the cone and adaptor they include can be used to do a dry-burn (with an ego-battery) on the e-roll atomizers to at least get the funk out of them & make them last a little longer..

I really hate paying $5 each for the joye atomizers, so I'm hoping I can at least re-wick these cheap ones & get something servicable..I've got more time than money right now..

Ok, just decided to do some "destructive testing" on the Chinabuye atomizers - There is one wick inside these, going through the coil, and up into the spike on the top piece..

clickable thumb so you can see it bigger.. :

These are just not the same as genuine joye atomizers - the coil is soldered to the top piece, there is no "packing" around the coil - it's a product made to look like a joye atomizer, but the internal differences make it so it can't function like the joye atomizer..

suck!

you can see how an ego-c atomizer is supposed to look here:
