I found this stuff in the dollar store . it has been just as good as the Japanese organic stuff I've tried. But its only a buck for a bag. Wicks awesome. Maybe too good. My tank has been guzzling liquid. But no burning or other wicking issues.

Good find. Are you boiling it? I got a package of puff joc for like 10$ off amazon that will last year's.

Also have been using cotton bacon v2 for months. That's a small package but it lasts forever. Cost 5$

juice is where all my money goes lol.

Nah I just pluck it out and use it. Works good enough for me. Im sure I'll find some other kind to try before not too long. But this stuff is pretty good for a buck.

FWIW, I find that ALL cotton wicks better after being boiled and dried a couple times. Don't know why, just how it's worked for me. So I boil all my cotton, now regardless of where it comes from.

I have never boiled cotton, but I do use organic one. For really cheap cotton from a dollar store I would suspect it was grown with a lot of pesticides. I'd better boil it. From the other hand wick is so tiny... I do not know...
I understand peoples concerns about pesticides and such. But Im a auto tech and breath poisons all day to keep everyone's cars on the road . And an apple probably has much more in it then cotton wick. As long as I'm not smoking its all good. The boiling and drying for the wicking improvement is interesting.

As long as it works for you & you're satisfied with the taste & quality, that's what counts. Chances are, the next time you go in that same dollar store, there'll be a different brand. If I run across something good, will stock up while the getting's good.
