Cheap mechanical mods

I found these cheap mech mods on a site called vaporbreak.com. They were 20$ or less. Anyone have any experience using one of these 12-20$ mods? If mods have no wiring then why are some priced so high? Im not new to vaping but I am to mods. I wanna get one as a back up, but I don't wanna spend an arm and a leg. Any advice is appreciated.

I asked the same question a while ago. The overwhelming response is, quality of the product, research and development, and the fact that it's made by artisans usually.

Not to say that others are bad. I just ordered a kamry k101 for 30 bucks from myvaporstore

depends on what it is, how its made, everything, the reo is expensive... but its amazing, and its durable, now some of the tube mods may be inexpensive because there are many tubes available to create them, other things that you have to make, or make from scratch are going to cost substantially more...

also depends on how much people are willing to spend on it...

my KTS wasn't that expensive, but im not not calling her cheap either. I dont want to hurt her feelings! even though it was " inexpensive" it still works like a dream. no problems whatsoever ( knocks on wood)

I'd recommend a K-100 or K-101, simple small and rugged. Get a tube of Noalox for the threads, but that goes for any threaded mod.

I have never purchased anything from Vaporbreak, even though I know of several who have. If you are going go the China route, I would recommend Focalecig or Fasttech, both of whom are closed right now ... And yes, it is possible to get a quality mechanical for a very low price, because they really don't cost that much to manufacture in the first place.

There are a handful of trustworthy, and reputable vendors on Ebay as well (re-sellers of low cost Chinese Mods), they are more expensive than China, but sometimes cheaper than other US online vendors ... just remember to check Feedback scores before you buy.

Whatever you choose, and whoever you decide to buy from, make sure that there have been favorable reviews for both the product and the vendor. You can find some amazing, good quality items for low cost in China, but you can also find some things that are not worth the packaging it was sent it.... Reviews, and recommendations. ;-)

I definitely recommend the Kamry K101, or Kamry mods in general. They are inexpensive but well built and the K100/K101 has very minimal voltage drop under load! You can also easily get them from vendors in the US and not worry about 2-4 weeks(or longer) from China. I just got 2 of them recently here:

The ones I got come as a kit, I'm pretty sure you can find just the mod itself for even less. Either way it is a solid mech and I love mine!
