Cheaper available hybrids?

I finally figured out the genesis wicks and coils, and now I get to enjoy my AGA. The next logical step seems to be finding some sort of a hybrid to replace my home made copper tube mechanical atrocity that the AGA sits on.

The iHybrid looks really nice, but the price is a bit prohibitive for me so far

So, do you guys know of any cheaper (both price and quality, likely) genesis hybrids?

The iHybrid standard, is about as cheap as your going to find...

you can always make your own, but finding a production unit worth keeping for less is very unlikely.

Just a point to consider (I'm not intending to insult your intelligence), you do realize that a hybrid will not accept a 510 connection right? (Unless there is a special made adapter). A hybrid has it's own rba built into the mod.

You may mean a "mechanical" MOD for your AGA-T?
A painted aluminum or anodized aluminum "Bolt" MOD are reasonably priced and fairly rugged:

Nope, I did mean hybrid Just exploring the options. At the prices I'm finding so far, I think I may have to stick to my copper tube with a 510 connection. I may have to redo the cap part to make the connection more seemless

I've seen a couple really nice clone hybrids at my neighbors house. Not sure what they are called but they are built nice and sturdy. Plus they don't have that outrageous price tag. Also, look for the market to be flooded with options after the Chinese new year. It will be a huge win for the consumer.

You can always tap the top of your tube with a M20x1 and then mod your AGA-T like this.

You can always tap the top of your tube with a M20x1 and then mod your AGA-T like this.

as long as the threads of the AGA-T have something to bite into, you will be fine... throw some pictures up!

The M20x1 is my assumed thread size... take some measurements before buying any taps... lol

that is the AGA-T+, those have o-rings holding the top cap... you need at least one AGA-T with threaded top caps to make this mod possible.

where did you get the blue tank for the ihybrid??

The iHybrid has a blue tank that is meant for a Zen, the sleeve can't go over it , and you need thicker o-rings to make a seal.

The iHybrid doesn't belong to me, so I have no idea if this setup is reliable. Do at your own risk.
