Hi! Today I bought a brand new Segelei 50W box mod. I used it all day then all of the sudden I got a message on its screen saying "check atomizer". I read on Segtelei's page that if this happens to adjust the pin that connects to your atomizer. I spent 2 hours adjusting the pin on the atomizer and on the mod box. I even put a new fully charged battery in it. Nothing seems to work! Has anybody else had this problem? Please help!

Buy a cheap voltmeter and use it to check the resistance of your coils. Either it went under the lower limit resistance range of the Sigelei or the coil opened up. Try a new coil head and see if it works.

Everyone who vapes needs a 510 ohmmeter. You just screw the atomizer into the socket and read the resistance on the LED display.

The mod box screen has an ohm meter on it and if I remember correctly it was bouncing around. The voltage was also changing without me changing it.

this means you might have a short in your build. You really need to check the ohm's of your coils with a multimeter, to eliminate the possability that the mods onboard ohm checker isnt broken.

check the atty with a multimeter for resistance and for a possible short.

ALSO try a different atty on the mod.

just those 2 things will isolate where at least the problem is.

Where could I get a multimeter and how much would it be? Also, I don't have another atty but I do have an ego-c uprgrade battery and I tried my atty on that and it worked but still won't work on the sigelei

you can get a basic multimeter from a hardware store.

an ego-c would still fire the atty if it had a partial short, eventually killing the battery. When you do fire it with the ego-c, do both coils heat up, smoothly and quickly from the inside out?

OP, I strongly suggest that you get a multimeter and/or an ohm reader.

Perhaps, a better understanding of building coils, as well.
