Having spent a few weeks in Tenerife a few years ago, I envy anyone going now. In march, there is some of the best big game fishing. I am talking big tuna, marlin, and my favorite, wahoo. I even spent time drinking Dorado beer and smoking some fine Cuban cigars, this before I started vaping.

The island has made many great memories for me so I request you take lots of pictures so we here on ECF can enjoy your vacation, too.

My visit was pre-euro so it had to be near on fifteen years ago.

I stayed in Los Cristianos and fished two days on a large charter boat with my friend and six other tourists for some big fish, marlin and huge (to me) tuna. Also fished on a smaller boat, just the two of us, out of Costa Adeje but for the life of me I can not remember the name. Smaller boat offered all day fishing for less and also was a "competition" type light tackle boat. here I caught wahoo one one trip and then sharks, some sort of snapper on another. Just wish I could have went diving but just could not make the time for it being a beginner diver and weather conditions.

I am currently living in an area with great sport fishing but I have to say, Tenerife was one of the better places I have fished. Would go back in a heartbeat if I was younger and my health was better!

I have heard of Joel Smetts. His legendary awesomeness on a bike reached our shores and I'm pretty sure he used to race in the Motocross de Nations. And may have even won several times.

So we got F1, music, REOs and now motocross in common . I like it

We "upgraded" our seats to these right on the wall by the triple after seeing them unoccupied all evening. It was like watching a hockey game on the glass rather than a few rows back
