Beautiful, and congratulations! I can just imagine that with the brass door....can't wait to see it. Now you're a full-fledged Reonaut. The welcoming committee will be around in the morning, no doubt, with your badge.

Thanks JC Okie. I already got the fat lady double D vapin horror and a badge buried in my thread asking if I should get a Grand or a Mini, but since I only posted 1 picture I figured I'd do it up right. Wish I had a better camera and lighting to do this gorgeous Copper vein justice. I am happy I got the Grand, but I still want a mini. LOL you guys aren't kidding about you can't just own one. I took my Grand to work on friday as my only mod. Only brought an extra battery and refill bottle instead of 2-3 mods with multiple batteries and at least one 15ml bottle of juice. It was pretty liberating. Though I figured out that I vape about 7ml of juice from leaving the house till I get home. LOL didn't realize I vaped that much, but I am down to 6mg nic so I'm happy. To think a little over 5 months ago I was almost up to 2 packs of marlboro light 100's a day. I'm pretty much ecstatic and feel so much better.

I am pretty much now a total ReoNut.

I agree just helping with what is tried and true. You are new and will adjust to what is best. I started with what the veterans recommend and have enjoyed it very much. You must recognize one thing though, squonking is a way of life and a given when owning a REO. If squonking is tedious or you prefer to avoid it then you want a ProVari with a tank! Just my 2 cents and I'm not here to offend just help you out!

By delivering fresh juice often you will avoid cooking it when you are keeping it up top especially with a thick and heavy juice like Boba's

Yep, I fully understand the logic. I sold my Provari for the REO though. I am very experienced with genesis atomizers, and even did THIS nuts crazy build on my Dome:

So yes, I get the squonking logic, but for me, personally, this method seems to be providing a more enjoyable experience. Once it ceases to be an enjoyable experience, I will explore alternatives and recommendations from the Vets. However, I already had the shorty wicks, and was getting more dry hits than I was comfortable with, which is my own fault for lack of squonking.

The reason I went the higher volume of cotton route is that I love my trident, and love the amount of juice it holds when done right. My problem was dripping and driving lol. This solves that. I essentially treat it like a standard dripper, and just squonk instead of dripping, which again, has been the most enjoyable experience for me :vapor:

Interesting... Probably not something I would go for. I think a major perk of the squonking hole is being able to have a visual on your remaining juice. Like the innovation though! What kind of battery is that? I'm using Sony VTC5 flat tops and its working great. I have an AW IMR 18650, and the nice thing about that is that the button has a markedly shorter throw because of the button top. I like the 30 amp battery limit though, just an additional protection in the case of a short.

I almost find myself wishing that the spring wasn't there, because I personally feel like these batteries in particular are regarded as being "safe" enough to handle a nasty situation like that. Also, if the spring weren't there, the voltage drop would likely be less.

More of a personal thing than anything. Honestly, that design should remain to protect users. It's a simple safety mechanism that has saved many a cloud chaser from a bad situation.

Shoot, as good of a vape as it is, I should just keep my yapper shut :D

Edit: By no spring, I mean supplementing for a solid silver plated brass rod or something like that. Not a clue how it would work, but I'm just chasing unicorns to be honest

Efest 35AMP IMR18650- 2500mah
Efest 35AMP IMR18650- 2500mah - 101 Vape

which are just re-wrapped LG batteries
LG 18650HE2 35A 2500mAh - 101 Vape

I've got Sony VTC4s that I also use, I'm going to pick up some VTC5's for the extra mah when I find some on sale.

I'm perfectly happy with the new sub-ohm contacts and am not vaping low enough resistance to really care how about getting much lower voltage drop than they have now. 1/2 my tube mods have more of a voltage drop. Actually the only ones that hit harder are my copper mods, but it would be cool if you could buy an upgrade like that to install yourself. I'd probably get it just to see if I could get a better vape with more voltage. (ie less voltage drop)

Ken

Oh P.S. I just slide the whole door up a little and the foam goes with it when I want to peak at my juice level. Like I said it's just a little trick someone mentioned and I gave it a try and liked it. Wasn't suggesting it to anyone just thanking the person who when asked about that funky little covering in a photo of his Reo explained what it was.

dang. i nodded off for an old man's nap for an hour or two, and my fellow Sac dude now knows more about Reos than i ever did :)

Lol, I'm a fast learner, but I highly doubt that statement MamaTried. I'll tell you though. It's the first time I've felt like I can grab a single mod and be set for most of the day and still get the great tasting vape like I do with a dripper. I didn't realize that this was a stress point in my life until it was gone. Now I just need a couple more Reos.... like a mini, and a woodie... and a VV... ..... LMAO.

Ken who is up too late again.

I am still new to reo's but it did not take me long to know that it doesn't get any better. Congrats to you. Can't wait to see more with the new brass door. She will be lovely......

Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful?
Isn't she precious? More than one minute old
I never thought through love
He'd be making one as lovely as she
But isn't she lovely made from Rob.

Isn't she pretty? Truly the Angel's best
Boy, I'm so happy, we have been Heaven blessed
I can't believe what Rob has done
Through us He's given me the one
So isn't she lovely made from Rob.

Isn't she lovely? Toot and love are the same
Life is a Vapor, for us to gain
Gosh, it could have not been done
Without you who conceived the one
That's so very lovely, I love Rob.

This is what Stevie really meant to say............. bahahahahaha
The flip side is "My REO AMORE"

Needless to say I am so completely satisfied with my first Reo that I feel like I need a cigarette.... oh wait, I'll just grab my Reo.

Ahh that cracked me up!

Even though I'm happy as a clam (I've always wondered what makes clams so happy) with my LP Reo Grand, I still want to get a LP Reo mini, but I want to try the new SL Reos. Does anyone know if Rob is planning on bringing out SL-LP Reo Minis? I know they are already small and lighter than the "full sized" Reos, but I want a Reo that is the superest lightest Reo around.

I think you will have to PM redeyedancer (Rob) to see if he is making SL LP Mini's. I think he is in the process of it but not 100% sure. I'm not game to pm him because if he says yes I won't be able to stop myself ordering one. If you want small and light, that would be the mini-powerhouse to have. I also like small and light, easy in the pocket and weighs nothing is my style, no wallet, no cell phone, and minimal keys. You'll love the Mini :)

Welcome to Reoville Brickfollet. You are officially a Reonaut so here's your badge. IF you wear your badge 24/7 no Reoevangelists will appear at your door to counsel you on the sins of over stuffing your topper with excessive cotton. "Less is more" shall not be said in your presents. Reminds me of an epitaph that appears on a tombstone in one of those old western ghost towns.

Here lies Les Moore
Four bullets from a forty four
No less, no more.

Here's your badge.

Thanks and I think it's going to look awesome with the brass RM2 and button cover. I'm hoping they will all get even and equally tarnished.

I will post a picture as soon as I get it. Which should be soon. (Expected Delivery Day: Monday, May 12, 2014)

I have the exact same setup and should get my brass door Monday as well.

Congrats to another Reonaut from Sac. I love the Mini LP and pretty much use it exclusively around the house (it's on the far left). It is just so "pocket" convenient. Even with a 0.5 coil I get decent battery life with the AW 18490.

Mackman where in the world did you (and where do I) get a cyclone? I've been looking everywhere for one and nobody has them in stock. Oh and on a side note... whomever is running Vicious Ant's facebook page is an a**hole. I posted two different questions on there and both were deleted without any communication to me what so ever. Not even a "we don't answer questions on this page it's just for advertising our products." comment or PM.

Kentastic, those cyclones are terrifically rare to find. I have one coming tomorrow, but it was fun to acquire. I placed a phone call to the Chattanooga, TN store of Mountain Oak Vapor. They had a few in stock for in store purchase only. The only place that could do internet purchase was the Cleveland store. To cut it short, the manager drove 5 of them up to Cleveland and had my name on one of those. I had to call Cleveland in the morning and they got them from the other store and had mine. They had me log in, then he added that one into inventory and told me to refresh and add to cart right away, which I did. They were very helpful, but they also sold out the last few within minutes. About the only place now would be here on the classys if anyone ever decides to sell one. I have heard though that there is another version due to be released sometime, maybe soon.

As PWheeler said they are hard to come by. Since you are verified stalk the classies; hopefully you'll get lucky. I love their products but VA is lacking on the customer support. I have another Cyclone with a stripped center post threads. VA was supposed to ship it to a vendor (wouldn't send it to me) for me but didn't, no further replies to my communication and SOL.:nah:

How hard is it to find a top feed Cyclone? Surely one could be modified, I think Quigsworth would be up to it.

ETA - another way around it is get the FT YK1 or Mini A6, they have a brass center post, and are much easier to disassemble, drill, and reassemble. But then that's not a Cyclone, but the vape is similar.

Yes! I was able to snatch up the last bottom feeding cyclone Vapor Trading Co had. They do still have some black and red AFC top caps available though if anyone wants one. $55 each, but their website payment processor is broken so you'll have to call them. (832) 369-7171 option 1 They are in Texas.
