There has been a lot of debate about this - if it's a good idea or not, and/or how to do it. For example, some said we should just ban mechmod & rba talk from the NM board.

In the end I figured we'd try this way instead and see what happens...

I think you made a good choice, since there are new members who aren't new to vaping, but have finally stopped lurking to ask specific questions - and on the other hand, new vapers who don't need to be told to build coils, when all they asked about was what resistance head to use with their new EVOD.

I've said this many times, but one of my goals is to make vaping accessible to as many people as possible, so one has to be sensitive to the questions new vapers ask and what their comfort level is before offering suggestions that may be beyond their current ability.
