People need all possible information in order to make up their minds, and I found nothing offensive in this thread, so it appears on the surface to be a valid discussion that can be left visible. I closed the thread as all that can be said appears to have been said.

I have no idea what this is all about, in terms of any larger debate, as that is a matter for our Forum Manager and/or Complaints Officer (see the Contacts page). If someone has a complaint about a member then they should report it to the Forum Manager, and a complaint about a Supplier should be sent to the Complaints Officer.

Those admins would be aware of any ongoing issues, if any have been reported.

Please do not remove the content of Post #1 as it renders all subsequent discussion meaningless and pointless - and is incredibly annoying. This is why I prefer to have a 45 minute limit on post editing, though since this is apparently not the view of the Mods, it is currently much longer than this. I view this as a mistake but the team works by compromise, so it is as it is. However abuse of this privilege will certainly lead to it being removed as there is a limit to my tolerance of annoyance :)

Roly, I removed #1 before your first comment above. ~15m before and in deference and out of respect to the fact you had just gone and visited the subject thread and addressed it how you saw fit.
