I agree with staying away from the cheesecake flavor. However, I personally would also explain the problem you are having to the vendors, and try to find out from each vendor exactly what is in the flavor. My daughter has a problem with artificial sweeteners in "real" foods and beverages - they make her throat feel like it is closing up. It took us a while to figure out what the problem was, since some products that have artificial sweeteners added are not sugarless. I was told by a big name gum company that they are added to regular gum as "flavor enhancers". We avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague for that reason, and read labels VERY carefully. So far, she has not had any problems with any eliquids that we have ordered from Killer Juice or Mt. Baker Vapor. You may be super sensitive to one particular component of the flavor, and it would be nice for you to know so you can avoid things that have that particular component.

I would stay away from that flavor from both of those vendors then. There are other factors such as nic and pg that could be a factor as well. Do you order other stuff in those brands that do not give you similar reactions?

i agree. it could be the flavor or could possibly be the PG? when i started vaping i ordered some that was high pg low vg and it did not sit well with me. i switched to max vg juice and never had a problem since. your situation may not relate to PG but to the flavoring but thought i`d put it out there.

I get a scratchiness in my throat with high PG.

The flavors in e-liquids are the same artificial and natural flavors used in food. Most likely completely safe to eat, but not tested for inhalation. Because of this there are many "personal" reactions to different flavors and no list of what flavors may cause what symptoms. I would ask the vendor what flavors are in these juices and attempt to stay away from them since your body does not like them very much. I discovered that I can't vape tobacco juices (they sensitize me to headaches like analogs did).

Very high PG (or VG) levels can also cause excessive throat irritation, again it differs for everyone. Is there anything different about these juices compared to other juices you don't react to other than the flavor?

That's just the start. Cheesecake juice, both from Killer Juice and MBV, not only gives me headaches, my throat also closes when I try to vape it. Are there ingredients in cheesecake flavoring that cause such a reaction?

Is that coming on suddenly? It sounds like an allergic reaction, especially the throat closing up part. Do you have allergies or have you ever been tested?
