cherry bomber issue?

So I was looking into getting a cherry bomber (clone) and iv been reading that there's an issue with it firing when metal makes contact with the box, because the whole thing is ground. Now I was wondering is this the cherry bomber itself? Or do all parallel mech box mods do this?

Yes there is an autofire issue with the cherrybomber when a metal object touches the box and the atty, youtube search 'cherrybomber warning' and it'll show you. If an atomizer is too big it will also autofire.

I've not heard of it on anyother box mods.

Also on the cherrybomber there is a problem if you unscrew the atty without loosening the battery the delron insulator can unscrew with it and cause a hard battery short.

Hi and welcome to the board. The issue is with the Cherry Bomber, not all parallel box mods do this.

I just like the logo pretty much a pinup Jessica rabbit haha I was looking into the nookie too anyone had experience with it?

The logo is nice. I think if you search fasttech there is a plastic version of the cherrybomber same nice logo without the autofire. Never used the nookie sorry.

Well I say 'plastic', but I think its actually acrylic 《-- I carnt delete this little fella so just ignore him.

most clones now come in a brass version. The demitri box I hear is nice (didnt like the position of the fire button myself but still worth a look).

the CB has a negative contact button while most every other box mech has a positive contact button. Use plastic attys or never allow metal ( actually anything conductive) to make contact from the case to the atty exterior that is part of the 510 negative threaded portion.... and yes, it makes a difference. Consider that the "cover"/top cap can be insulated from the negative portion of the atty by the Oring... if it isnt, then an auto fire condition can occur when the case/atty circuit is created.
