Cherry,Spearmint, Ry4 and Choco

I am transported by the colors! The RY4 is really a gold foil color..beautiful! The Speamint is a spring green and the Cherry is perfect with the red shorty batt. The yellow is more greenish yellow then deep yellow..but very nice with the banana carto.

OK, Ok to the flavors!
I used a shorty, reg and extra long batts, I vape new catomizers at 11mg.
I got the best throat hit from the RY4 and Cherry. But still the very best is the banana..I have to cut it a bit..I am a wimp!

The Spearmint is chewing gum flavored and really strong! I could smell it before I opened the carto box! The flavor is just outstanding..all I hoped for. But I would worry about stealth vaping this! Of course they will think you are chewing gum. Good vapor..smells good too!

The Cherry is a nice cherry flavor, not cough syrup! Kind of jolly rancher. But be warned, this is a lovely delicate flavor! I tried it on a regular and an extra long..it loses flavor the longer you go! On a shorty it is sweet, smooth and cherry. On the extra long it is just sweet and smooth. Medium vapor on the short..more on the reg. This is an all day vape.

The Chocolate is chocolate..thank goodness, just smooth and rich..no tootsie pop flavor here! Holds up on all batts. Good vapor too.

RY4, my all time favorite flavor, I have tried several cartos from several places and the place where cartos are made doesn't know from RY4! Get a freakin' tester! Please tell them Leaf!
Don't get me wrong, the RY4 is good..smooth and tasty, but isn't the same as liquid. It's like expecting coffee but getting tea. It is a vapor maker and the carto's are full to the brim with liquid.

These are just my opinions..my taste buds are not the same as yours!

If you like the Banana try out some of the Banana Cream Pie, HUGE amounts of vapor, and enough throat hit it will make an analog smoker jealous!

Thanks for the pics. I'm so excited! I ordered Tuesday one of those sweet red shortys.....looks great! I'm partial to red, so had to have it! I'm just waiting on the postman now!

Same flavor..they sent the cartos in black for one shipment I think..then the gold.

I tried RY4 cartos from another vendor *hangs head in shame* and didn't like them at all - they tasted like burnt sugar with a dash of aftershave or something to me. I should try some juice.

Those red batteries are so lovely! seriously. I was about to poopoo about them only being available in the shorties and manual XLs but then I checked the site and... $%#!!!!
They have gorgeous red single-logo auto XLs now. I just ordered day before yesterday! waaahh.

Going to have to get some of those gold Ry4s- gold cartos and a red battery, too posh.

Thanks for the review. Interesting how the flavors change with the different batteries. My Ry4's as mentioned in my post are black. I love the cherry as well.

I'm not sure which batch yours are from, when did you order? In any case the latest ones are gold colored, but not the right metallic gold. My mistake on that.

I received the black RY4 also and they don't taste like RY4. Is there a difference in taste with the different cart color?

I'll have to check with the guys back in Chicago to be sure, but I don't have any notes about the last batch of RY4 being different than usual, or needing to be improved or changed this time. It should all be the same.

But believe it or not, visual things like the sticker color can fool the brain into tasting it differently. Take the Pina Colada for an example. Last batch, for some dumb reason, the printers changed the sticker color from a baby blue to a dark blue. The flavor formula was the same, and Steve, Mark and Mariano can all vouch that the flavor tasted the same. But lots of customers thought it tasted different. This time, all we did was change it back to the original Baby Blue, and everyone so far is happy.

Like every good chef knows, presentation is as important or more than the actual taste.

TBob is an inovator supreme..sometimes it just backfires a bit!

Leaf, The RY4 is the same flavor as always in the cart..Not very good.
The liquid is a rich caramely flavor with a hint of vanilla and tobacco. I vape it everyday and have ordered it from V4L as well as others.

The same is true for cartos..all of them..from every place, they taste like burnt marshmallows with a dry overused carto background. (and yes, the carto was full of liquid)

You guys know me, I rarely if ever complain on the forums. I do understand that that some people love the taste..but please have someone do a side by side comparasion of the carto's vs the liquid (not the 5 ml..the 20) In a cart not a cartomizer. If there is no difference..I will hang up my P.V.s.

Leaford - Speaking of INNOVATING... how about finding something to add to the liquids to make the vapor less drying to mouth and throat? Shouldn't VG be moisturizing - it's a humectant, right?
