We are experimenting with different PG/VG ratios. The latest batches have more VG than before, and so far I am liking the results. But I'm not sure if it's less drying to the throat. ANd I'm not entirely sure how I can test for that. ANy suggestions?

But, it's PG that's a humectant, that's why it dries out moist tissues like the throat. It evens out moisture, making dry things wetter, and wet things drier. That's why they use it in humidors.

I've been using some juices that are about a 50/50 mix of PG/VG, and am very pleased with how they work in the cartos. I've been lucky in that I haven't really noticed any dryness in my mouth from day 1, even with the regular PG cartos. I do find my throat to be somewhat dry in the middle of the night, but I imagine the dry winter air is contributing to that as much as anything.

leaf, I forgot to add that I got this order on Thurs. I ordered late Friday night. I must remind my self to order on Sunday night..it makes the wait shorter! I got another order from you guys today.

I know exactly what you mean, ordering just before the weekend is a bad habit of mine too. but my worst habit used to be to do my online shopping at 3am on Sundays when I should have been sleeping. ;)
