Hello fellow vapers:

I just received an order of drip tips that included 2 Cherry Vape Ming Drip Tips. I can't get them to fit on any of my 510 attys, cartos, or tanks. I'm really bummed because they are really sweet looking. I tried some elbow grease on one of them and actually broke it at the base. :mad: Leaving the base of the drip tip stuck in my tank. The supplier says he'd never heard of anyone having any issues with the Mings or Pawns. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Happy vaping!

Sean

Cherry Vapes Pawns and Mings are 510 drip dips. The manufacturer must not have his ear to the ground though. They ARE very hard to get on and off, which is why I love to use them for tanks. You can use the drip tip to screw a slippery tank on your PV. The best way to get them on is to lube them with a little juice and gently push them in using downward and right/left motions. Once you use them a few times, they get easier because the o-ring compresses a little. Taking them out can be a challenge as well, but just reverse and use a upward right/left pull motion. The alternative is to replace the o-rings with thinner ones. I've done that too. Good luck!

But they are incredibly tight!! email the manufacturer and tell him to go look at this post, cause theres quite a few people who agree with you! i actually diddnt order any more because of this issue! its the O-ring thats a lil too big, not the tip...

Yep, I've experienced that issue myself. I had two from a few months ago that fit tight but went in and came out without too much fuss.

Over the Black Friday sales I rounded out the collection with a few more colors. About half of them are extremely tight. I managed to get them in their atomizers eventually but I'm pretty sure at least one o-ring was damaged in the process, and that was with it lubed up with a little PG.

I haven't contacted the vendors I bought from yet, but I'm wondering if it's better to contact them or Cherry Vapes directly. ...

WOW, I have more than 15 different Cherry Vapes 510 Drip Tips, 2 Stainless Mings and about 15 Dreamtips and they all fit snug but definitely not Tight per say.
My suggestion would be to run the O-Ring end around the spout of a juice bottle to get it slightly moist prior to inserting it and twist as you insert, It should go in fairly easy that way.

Hope this helps;

Lately I've notice the increasing popularity of the red o-rings. They seem to have a larger diameter (caused by thicker rubber). Some black ones are even this larger size. Might be easier just to hop down to the local hardware store with a tip and a tight ring, and see if they can fix you up with a few o-rings that are smaller. Might be quicker and easier than trying to find the right ones over the net.

I retract my post. Although they don't make the color I broke anymore (And it as my VERY favorite one...the clear purple without the swirls) Cheryl has offered me a replacement.

I will say I did email when it broke and was not answered. Maybe it went to a new employee and they didn't know how to handle it.

She's on top of it now, tho.

Thank you. Cheryl. That's good of you.
