a few days ago I got my first mod.it's an ehpro chi you clone with a nimbus clone at .45 ohms.it seems like I constantly have to adjust the top battery contact to get it to work.does anybody have any insight.any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you find you have to adjust the contact when you change (the same brand and size) batteries... check the length of your batteries. I've come across same brand/size, where the lengths vary a few millimeters.
Addendum: To clarify for others that follow... same top too - not the difference between flat and button top. ;-)

Same thing happens to mine. I swap between a flat and button top it just takes a little time but its not a big deal really

I've had trouble with the contacts, but it's not the minor adjustments your having. It's more like they just don't get good connection to the battery anymore.. It just doesn't hit like it used to even with Sony vtc4 fully charged
thanx for all input guys.im using flat top mnke batteries.i stopped in at a local shop and they said that I would unfortunately have to probably constantly adjust the contact.and thanx for the welcome state o flux
