and the fda has big hammers... hey, good post thanks. i saw it was coming and was wondering how to see it, i live in california, and i go to fairs and home shows to demo and sell stuff...from china, and the the guy i work for doesnt what to do a quality e-cig at these venues, he some craapy 201s, 103s, and wanted to say "help you quit smoking" and didnt listen to me, and got them pulled from a show tenn. i worry about the coming fda bill making the connection to the juice and parts. i just today got an order from china dse 901 (2009 model) with no problem. reminds me to send him a note. i use my three e-cigs eveywhere i go, and no hassles yet, but with these "news programs saying "no fda approval', i am sure to get in some hassles, i do carry TW big card on the fluid and e-cig use, have not had to pull it, and have sold one new kit becuz i was using mine at a home show in marin county fair grounds. damn, stay on topic jon. i went to the doctor today, regular appoitment for my arm, he asked if i was still off cigarettes? and he laughed...(he knew about my e-cig use) i got mad at him and took my SD ouy and puffed a cloud of vaper saying to him why laugh at what works for me this time? he said sorry, and said my rasing pain level and sleeplessness is from NOT smoking? gave me a pound of lunsta for sleep and 200 vicodne for pain.,..i told him i want to stop the viconde<sp?> he said i have to wait till after they rebuild my elbow and it will take 2-3 months...like analogs, there will be some discomfort in just stopping, (said my heart could stop if i went cold turkey off vicodne, well ive been on them for three years)
anyway back on thread. i will get my next juice from johnson creek, as a knok to them.

The Gateway to Cigarettes! I'm getting as tired of that tripe arguement as the "Think of the Children" one.

It was an informative article, nonetheless, and I do expect some rebuttal, but, come on, "experts," give me an arguement that doesn't insult my intellegence.

BTW, I just put a rebuttal to the Gateway argument in my blog.

VERY NICE, now there's some people thinking "I don't care, I think it's worth a try!"
Little negative with the good, but not so much in this one. GOOD SHOW!

It's more in our favor than we usually see. At least it includes a relatively positive comment by a smoking cessation expert (even though it is qualified with concerns).

What gives me a glimmer of hope lately is the overall increase in articles and TV news clips. I have to hope that the more the public is aware of our alternative, the harder it will be for the government to completely ban it.

LOL.... At 1:58 in the video I love the statement: "Any time we inhale anything into our lungs, we are doing damage to our lung tissue."
Really.... ANYTHING?
And this whole time I thought fresh air was good for me! Damn, and I thought quitting smoking was hard, this quitting breathing is gunna be BRUTAL!

Thanks for the laugh!!! :D From the written version this statement made me want to scream:
"We have taken away every single harmful chemical in the cigarette and left nothing but a nicotine delivery device," said Brian Culwell."

The more they use the phrase "delivery device" the more the FDA thinks it's an issue.
